My name

I recently looked up my name because I forgot what it meant so I searched on google what it meant and it said that Nicole is of Greek English and French origin and the meaning was victory of people. I kind of think it fits me all I know is that I was named by my grandfather. My mom told me the story everyone was trying to find a name and my grandfather said in his deep voice the baby's name will be Nicole. There was silence and everyone said ok and that simple I was Nicole I find it funny and don't know why granddad named me Nicole but im happy and simple enough with 2 syllables and 6 letters. I have no nickname but some of my family call me Nikki.  fid it weird my mother named my sister the first Keyanna and my mom name is Katherine both start with k's and my mother named my sister so I find it weird she couldn't name me maybe a name with a k since my sister and hers started with one but I still love Nicole and don't want to change it.I believe picking a name is kind of hard and very important and takes thinking before the baby arrives. So I don't know if I can find the perfect name for a baby or mine but I can make sure its not outrageous my baby or not.

I cant wait for summer!!!

I cannot wait until June because school will be over and summer will be approaching also I will be working. I know at my age some people are surprised someone at my age would want to work  during the summer. Im excited because its summer who doesn't like summer? Yea I know its hot but which would cold forever or some heat? You can go on vacation, be out of school (if you do what u need to do while in school), cookouts, beaches, pools, summer nights, and then holidays like the 4th  of July. It doesn't get any better but to be making money in the summer and one you enjoy. The last 2 years I was working at a day camp and I love it I work with the little kids that are going to kindergarten in the fall. It can be nerve wrecking because their little kids but it can also be fun plus I make a good amount so this year I cannot wait. It makes it more exciting my job hours are like a regular school day Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Im off weekends and I work downtown only about 5 blocks from my mother. Sometimes when I get home from work my friends would want to hang out and I would tell them no because I would be exhausted working that many hours with little kids who run around. But overall I like the job it keeps me getting exercise because I am literally on my feet all day and helps me grow a relationship with kids and preparers me for working regularly. I start on June 28 and I cant wait to make this money and have a great fun summer!

My career

From the time I was little I had dream jobs and couldn't make up my mind until now. I had the dream jobs of being a teacher when I was little to be an elementary school teacher but the as I got older I said "nah I don't want to be a teacher especially with little kids". So then it was an hair stylist I was into this career for a while I remember when I would always do my dolls hair and I felt like it fit my personality. Then when I got to middle school I got into journalism I thought the career was interesting but then once I got to be a freshman in high school I thought of the major of medicine. nursing was key and seemed perfect because my sister went to Howard university and graduated with a nursing degree. I sad perfect and now in 11th grade im thinking about being a sonogram technician I love both professions and know if I put my mind to it I can get both with hard work also. My plan was to go for the sonogram technician job first so I can be working while in college for nursing but my father didn't really like that plan. He just wanted me to go for nursing a registered nurse at that he feels that I will always have a job because u will always need a job. I asked my mom she said go with your gut and do what you feel is right. So im not 100% sure yet but im 90% sure now that I will go to nursing school first and after I graduate from college if I feel the same about the technician then I will pursue that career. At least I will be working and im listening to my mom and dad and to myself so everyone's happy.
